About Pete Davies
Business development manager for Fireco Ltd
With over 25 years of experience with wireless technology, Fireco is the leading manufacturer of wireless hold-open systems for fire doors and is best known as the inventors of the Dorgard fire door retainer. Whether using acoustic or radiofrequency actuated versions of our products, we offer quick, clean, and more cost-effective alternatives to traditional hardwired systems, ideal for both retrofit and new-build work.
As well as helping the responsible person for fire to hold fire doors open safely, we can also help with things like mass notification for fire alarms or other alerts.
We're happy to answer any questions that you have with regards to our hold-open devices or how they comply with BS 7273-4 (Code of practice for the operation of fire protection measures. Actuation of release mechanisms for doors).
